Who me?

I am currently 31 years old, i start with my age because it is particularly important to me(more on that later). All of my life I've desired to travel the world see the sights, smell the smells, taste the tastes, so-on and so-on. I like others in my era had this hunger stoked by my mother's non-exploration of the world. My mother was born and died in the same state: Connecticut. In her adult life I cannot recall a time she left New England. That is just depressing to me. She died at age 38, some three towns away from her birthplace. (Hint: importance of my current age) Days to weeks, to months, to years, and there i was still claiming I would not meet the same fate. The fate i speak of is non-exploration, hope your keeping up tiger lol. At the age of 16 I did get to travel to Trinidad & Tobago by way of Miami, for a sporting tournament, but it was the leisurely travel I was after. Even after working almost 10 years in the hospitality industry my travels still did not escape New England. Well I broke my cherry!!!! and it felt good. lol sorry i couldn't help myself with that one. Any-who, I gave my word to my childhood best friend that I would do it for my 31st birthday, and 10/29/10 I set sail from Miami to Bahamas! It was amazing, the bluest waters I have ever seen, and the cruise ship was above my expectations. I chose to start this blog as a sort of documentary of my experiences. Pictures are worth a thousand words, and my blog will strain your word-count lol. I plan to do a new blog once a month in which I will unveil my new adventure. Enjoy.
